Tamalpa Tee and TCRS (#6) - Friday, July 23rd

This year's event features an optional nine holes of golf on the NCGA rated executive course (limited to the first 36 entrants) followed by a classic 4.5 mile cross-country race.(A course map will be provided once the course is finalized).

Overall Schedule

3:30pm: Golf warm up on the practice greens for opening ceremonies
3:45pm: Shotgun start on the beautiful greenswards of McInnis Municipals
5:45pm – 6:00pm: Finish of golf and change from those soft spikes to the soft flats for the 5 miler on the golf course.
6:30pm: TCRS start on the McInnis first tee.

Golf Details

Golf will begin promptly at 3:45 - $ 15.00 per golfer, shot gun start. We will play nine holes of three and four par executive course golf.
Choose your foursome carefully, add up your scores, participate in the usual tournament games and warming up for the ‘back nine.

Race Details

The ‘back nine’ in this case is the race starting on the first fairway just ahead of the tee box, looping around on the cart paths and out the sixth fairway on to the McInnis Park/LGVSD levees, up and over the ‘Kees’ Saturday morning hill repeat hill, past the skateboard park and finishing back on the golf course near the practice putting greens.

The cost of the race will follow the TCRS pricing format, $ 3.00 for members, $ 5.00 for non members.

Post Golf and Race Party

A banquet including hors d’oeuvres? salad? sandwiches? beer and wine. A short awards ceremony follows in the spacious dining room and garden terrace of the Club Restaurant.

Dance under the stars to the tunes of Rumours….. live music on the patio.
