"The memorial for my my Dad is Saturday, October 24th from 1-5 pm at Mill Valley Community Center....(see attachment)....I look forward to seeing our Tamalpa members hear about how my Dad and Mom helped get Tamalpa kick-started and that so many women got their start up on the "Hill" - my folks house. The rowing community will also be represented at the memorial....
If folks would like to bring some refreshments in a small cooler (just a six pack or two; such as flavored water, non-alcoholic drinks)...that would help ...We'll have appetizers, coffee, and mini-cupcakes......Should be fun.."

Cross country at its best in China Camp. Come and run for Tamalpa and support your team. An iconic cross country race and part of the Pacific Association of USATF cross country series. A fantastic 4.1 mile course. Beer mugs, bagels, beer and a great time. To score for Tamalpa you must have a current PAUSATF card.

The 35th Annual Mt Tam Hill Climb will be held on September 7th at 8am. Come and tackle our favorite mountain!
Registration is race day only and entrance is $20. Registration starts at 7am in the square in Mill Valley. First come, first serve limited to 125 entrants (as always). No shortcuts, participants must stay on course.
Awards and party afterwards in Old Mill Park - pot luck (plus beer and sausage supplied by host). Tech t-shirts to top 10 finishers in each category. Please contact ryan.stever (at) gmail (dot) com if you have any questions, or you wish to volunteer.

Big Hills in the Lucas Valley course; whoever asked for Dipsea training had their request heard. Results are available at February results. A few of the printed names were difficult to interpret, so let me know of any corrections by emailing webmaster@tamalparunners.org. Thanks to Phil, Lillie, Heidi, Jay, Anitra, Marilyn, Ray, Florencia, and other volunteers for helping.

Tamalpa Runners is pleased to present the 35th Annual Couples Relay. The female partner runs two laps on a one-mile loop, and then tags their male partner, who runs the same course. There are lots of awards in each the division based on the combined age of the couple and the number of participants in open, married, father/daughter, mother/son, or grandparent/grandchild categories – plus a prize raffle! Find more information and register online or using the paper registration form.
