Tamalpa Runners race the roads all over Northern California. From 1 mile to 26.2 miles, from Santa Cruz to Redding, where there is a road race there is a Tamalpan. Tamalpans run races small and large, but the most popular road races are those that are part of the Pacific Association of USA Track and Field (PA/USATF) Grand Prix. This series consists of twelve to fourteen road races spread around Northern California. The races range in length from 1 mile to the marathon and is a Grand Prix with point totals being kept over the race series for both individuals and teams. Tamalpa Runners hosts the Marin Memorial Race (formerly Pacific Sun 10k) which is part of this series on Memorial Day every year.
Tamalpa attempts to field as many men's and women's teams in each age division as we can for these races, so if you have an interest in the racing in any PAUSATF race, contact the racing team coordinator (see Club Management) to get involved. For the full PAUSATF Road Racing schedule, race results, individual standings and team standings go to http://www.pausatf.org/indexrr.html. Tamalpa specific results will be published here as available.
Of course, Tamalpan road racing isn't limited to the PAUSATF series. There are a great number of road races around the Greater Bay Area, for featured races see the calendar on our home page. For Bay Area racing schedules see our racing schedule links.
