Held in the first week of September, this hike-run of the Dipsea trail leaves from Old Mill Park, follows the Dipsea trail and returns to Mill Valley. Originally hiked in memory of Annie Fox, a former Tamalpan, this event raises funds for cancer research in Marin County. Tamalpa is a sponsor of this hike which was first held in 2002. Tamalpa provides both a stipend to help put on the event and volunteers to man the course. Details of this years walk may be found at Dipsea Hike for Zero Breast Cancer
