2006 TCRS # 10 Results

Redwood High 5k
November 5, 2006
72 finishers - 20 women, 52 men

Tom Lyons finished up the season on a strong note, winning 3 of the
final 4 TCRS events for 2006, including November's 5-K Club Championship
at Redwood High School. Lisa Monroe Watts, still a relative newcomer to
Tamalpa, captured the title for the women by holding off Tamara Gonzalez
and Karen Steele, both of whom had great 2006 seasons. Karen and Brad
Bryon won the overall points titles for the season. The 5-K was blessed
with good weather, and particularly blessed once again with our
outstanding volunteer crew, including Heidi, Lillie, Marilyn, Jay, Ana,
Ray, Anitra, and Jodie. Thus concludes the 24th full season of the
Tamalpa Club Run Series, and chances are good we'll be out at Tennessee
Valley in mid-January to begin Number 25.
