Tamalpa Results from first PAUSATF Road Race of 2018

Twelve Tamalpa Runners compete for the Tamalpa Runners race at the first PAUSATF Road Race of 2018

The first PAUSATF Road race of 2018 was held in Sacramento on Super Bowl Sunday, 2/4/18. Tamalpa had 12 runners compete and fielded 3 scoring teams. Don Porteous led the Tamalpa Veteran Men and was the first M70+ finisher with a 43:39 finish. Len Goldman was only 3 seconds back and was the second M70+ finisher in 43:42. Fred Martin filled out the Tamalpa Veteran Men’s team and they took first place in their division. Keith Duncan was the first Tamalpa finisher in the Race as the 4th M60+ finisher and led the Tamalpa Super Senior Men’s team of Roberto Donaire, Jim Morris and himself to what appears to be a 3rd place finish.

Melody Anne Schultz was the first finisher in the F70+ division in 55:42. Danielle Herrerias, Tricia Wallace and Susan Kreusch formed a Women’s Senior Team that appears to have taken 3rd place in the F50+ division. Peter O’Reilly and Jorge Gonzalez ran in the Men’s Senior division, but we were one runner short of being able to score a Men’s Senior team. Good job to all of the Tamalpans who competed in this Race.

The next Race on the PAUSATF Road Racing Grand Prix is the NorCal John Frank 10 Mile Memorial Run in Redding on Saturday, March 3, 2018.
