Our old website is still in the background at: Old Tamalpa website. We’re working to bring content forward to this WordPress site, but I’m still learning. Frank’s This and That is still available from the old site, as is a lot of Tamalpa history.
The Johnny is coming soon. Information and registration is at: The Johnny. This race is in memory of John Lawson who passed away suddenly in February of 2000. He was an enthusiastic Tamalpa runner who enjoyed the spirit of competition and ran with grit and determination. He loved running along the majestic trails of Marin with family, friends and team mates. Please come join us for this expectational race day that has always been an incredible event!
Seven events down and three to go and the TCRS points race is still up for grabs! Meet us this Sunday for a 5.5 mile run around the familiar stomping grounds of Crown Road and the Blithedale Ridge Fire Road. The course starts with a flat 2.5 miles out on the Crown Fire Road before heading up the Huckleberrry Trail and the Blithedale Ridge Trail before bounding down the Hoo-Koo-E-Koo trail to the finish. Here’s a link to the course: https://www.strava.com/activities/747044468
Members and guests are invited to the race which starts at 8:45AM for the 60 and over crowd and 9:00AM for the rest of the participants. We will have coffee and bagels after the run so come join us for another exciting TCRS.
See full race details on the Tamalpa TCRS page.
