8:15 - 10K - ChampionChip Timing
9:45 - Youth Track Races
(12 & under: 50m, 100, 200, 400, 800, Mile)

LOCATION
College of Marin, Kentfield
2 ½-Mile starts on College Avenue
10K starts on Kent Avenue
Youth Races are in College of Marin stadium

DIRECTIONS
From Hwy 101 go west 2 ½ miles on Sir Francis Drake Bl toward San Anselmo. Turn left onto College Ave in Kentfield. Proceed ¼ mile to race venue.

PARKING
Use College of Marin parking lots along College Ave. Parking is also available in the stadium parking lot but you will not be able to leave until 9:30 if runners are still on the course. DO NOT PARK IN THE WOODLANDS CENTER. YOU WILL BE TOWED!!!!

FACILITIES
Restrooms are available in the Physical Education building next to the tennis courts. Port-A-Potties will be provided in the stadium parking lot.

RACE DAY REGISTRATION
Registration is available on race day on the tennis courts adjacent to the stadium parking lot.
Fees: Adults $30. 18 & under $19
Youth Track Races are $5 (no T-shirt)
Sign up, pay fees, pick up timing chip, head for the starting line.

TIMING CHIPS (IMPORTANT)
Plan to arrive early enough to pick up your timing chip at the designated location on the tennis courts adjacent to the stadium parking lot. You will receive instructions on how to use it at that time.

RACE NUMBERS
Your race number identifies you as an official race participant. You need it to enter the race and to receive your T-shirt. Please check to make sure that any personal information on the bib is correct. If anything is in error, please call (415) 721-3791, or come to the SOLUTION DESK on the tennis courts, race morning. Pin the number on the FRONT of your shirt or shorts, NOT ON THE BACK. An Arch Rival coupon for discounted athletic merchandise is printed on the back of your bib. This is redeemable on race day at the store in the Bon Air shopping center on Sir Francis Drake Blvd near Hwy 101.

COURSE (10K)-PA/USATF Championship Race
USATF nationally certified (CA98013TK) loop course through Kentfield, Ross and San Anselmo. It is fast and flat with mile splits. The WATER STORE of Marin will provide water at the 5K and 5 mile AID STATIONS.

FINISH LINE
ChampionChips will be removed in the corral just after you cross the finish line. Do not leave the area without first having the timing chip removed from your shoe. Failure to return chips will result in a $12 charge.

DIVISIONS & AWARDS
2 ½-Mile Runners - 3 deep for 7 & under, 8-12, 13-18, 19-29, every 10 years for 30 & over.
2 ½-Mile Racewalkers - 3-deep men and 3-deep women.
10K - 3-deep for 12 & under, 13-18, 19-29, every 5 years for 30 & over.

TAMALPA YOUTH TRACK RACES
Promoting youth fitness and fun, all finishers will receive a race number, goody bag, participant ribbon, and refreshments.

ENJOY THE DAY
Come early, stay late. Enjoy your race and then watch as others finish in the College of Marin stadium. At 9:45 come to the stadium to cheer the youngsters as they compete in the 50, 100, 200, 400, 800 meter, and Mile races. Not only do you provide support for these aspiring, and sometimes reluctant athletes, but also they are really fun to watch. Parents, don’t forget your cameras.

Management, registration, timing, and results are by It’s About Time and Tamalpa Runners. Results will be printed in the Pacific Sun newspaper and available via links on www.TamalpaRunners.org.
