Have you signed up yet for the Lake Merced Christmas Relays? Please use this Google Form or email davidleipsic@gmail.com if you want to join a team. We need to send our list of teams by December 10th. We need team captains and will be reaching out to you to manage your team once we have enough sign-ups. This is a really fun, special event to ring in the holiday season – you don’t want to miss it. For those who have never participated, it’s a great way to meet club members. Join us this year for the Lake Merced, West Valley Track Club Christmas Relays.
Each team is composed of four members who each run one full lap around Lake Merced, approx. 4.46 miles. The team categories are as follows:
OPEN
MASTERS
SENIORS
SUPER SENIORS and Veterans
This is the final PAUSATF Race of 2023 Since the race is a Grand Prix Race- and we want as many scoring teams as possible-Tamalpa will pay for 50% of each entry fee of $40.00 which is $20 and each runner will pay the balance of $20.00
Since this is a PAUSATF Race, each runner must have a current USATF Card to score for the Tamalpa Team. If any Tamalpa member does not currently have a 2023 or 2023 USATF Card, one can be obtained which then makes each card holder eligible for the 2023 Christmas Relays and all of the 2024. PAUSATF Races including Road, Cross Country, and Ultra Races during the 2023 year.

On Sunday, December 17, we all meet at the Sunset Circle Parking Lot, Sunset Blvd at Lake Merced no later than 8:15 AM at which time we pass out the race numbers and organize each Team.
The first runner for each team begins their leg at 9:00 AM.
