Only 5 Tamalpa Runners ventured south to run the Morgan Hill Freedom Fest 5K on the 4th of July. The first Tamalpa Finisher was Markelle Taylor who was the 7th M40-49 Finisher. Next in line were Keith Duncan and Roberto Donaire who finished as the 1st and 2nd M65-69 Runners. Mary Vidovich was next and she was the 3rd F55-59 Finisher. Needing a third runner to fill out a Male Super Senior Team Frank Ruona jogged the 5K, very slowly. Tamalpa Member Jason Reed, who races for Excelsior, had an outstanding race. He said he wanted to break 17:00 for the race and he ran 16:21 to finish as the 3rd M 40-49. The next PAUSATF Road Race is a local race starting in Sausalito and finishing in San Francisco, the Across The Bay 12K on Sunday, July 21, 2019. Let’s try to get a good number of Tamalpa Runners to compete in this Race.
