Yes, we know this year’s Super Bowl is LX (60), but our race is 40 years old, making it the Super Bowl XL (40th). Well, we can’t promise you that our beloved, albeit beat-up and injury-prone San Francisco 49ers will be playing on Sunday, February 8th, but we can promise you a fun, challenging, hilly, competitive Super Bowl handicapped race. The First wave gets going at 8:30. Bring something to eat to share and save $5 from the entry fee of $25.
Back by popular demand, and some whining, we are bringing back the Super Bowl Race. Thanks to Mark McMannus and Phoebe Markle, our new co-race directors, the race is returning to it’s one time location starting at the Mill Valley Golf Club House.
Plannning is still underway, and we could always use more volunteers for the event. The start and finish are being moved back to Mill Valley, to the golf course Club house where a very steep trail takes us to the Glen Canyon loop course.
